This bag is so well made...I purchased two. The leather is soft and rich. It's larger than it looks but still makes a great weekend bag. I spent $1,500 on an LV bag and it does not come close to how wonderful this Piel Leather Carpet Bag is.I looked for a well made, solid weekend bag for many months. I purchased this one in saddle and I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful and soft but very sturdy. It's it's huge - it just keeps expanding. Very, very pleased with my purchase and would recommend. The only thing I would mention is that it's not a lightweight bag, but the wide strap at the shoulder helps distribute the weight and I didn't have any problems carrying it.lovely texture to the leather. dont be fooled by the structured look of the bag, it is all stuffing. a very slouchy overall look which is not what we were looking for.Nice leather, wears quickly to nice patina, and softens. Large bag holds alotWell built and great looking.
