I got this cleaner for my inground pool since I did not want to clean it just by myself. I started this pool cleaner in my pool and it started moving and cleaning the floor right away. It appears to be able to navigate the floor of the pool okay but missing a few spots. My pool water is a bit clearer and cleaner after using it and it saved me some time rather than me cleaning it manually. The battery life is decent and needs to be recharged often between cleaning sessions.
