Since I had my prostate removed due to cancer, I was not able to achieve an erection anymore. None of the pills I was given by the doctors worked either. My only option I could see was a pump. The whole system is a wonderful product, and is very easy to use (I found baby oil works as good as the gel they supply), but even with this, I only get half as large as I had before the operation. I think what this needs is just a little more vacuum to achieve the results I want, and I found the vacuum seems to go down a bit just as the ring supplied is released off the unit on to me. So I lose a little more. But, my wife says to keep practicing. She's a teacher, so she should know. :-) At this time it is better than nothing at all.After years dealing with ED, I was on the verge of just giving up. I had tried everything, Cialis, Viagra, and everything under the sun without success. So, when I read about this Therapy Device, I figured I had nothing to lose so I purchased it. OMG! It works as advertised!!! I haven't had a satisfying sexual experience in about 7 years! Last night and the night before I actually was able to have a very satisfying experience with my girlfriend. God! I was SO happy!!! As was she...I actually went into the bathroom after the first time and almost got tears in my eyes! What a boost to the ego! What a boost for my confidence! How wonderful to be able to satisfy my girlfriend! BTW - I do not know if this will work for everyone. I mean you have to have a sex partner who is patient because it does take a few minutes to get everything "prepared". But once it is "happening", you are good to go for a good 20 minutes (the time limit recommended by the manufacturer). Guys, if all else has failed, TRY THIS! You may be surprised!For a post-prostatectomy patient, it does the job as expected. The trick is lubrication and lubrication and lubrication. Lubricate the ring and its cone; lubricate the rubber adaptor and your penis vigorously. Another secret is to measure the girth of your penis by the chart in the last page of the manual and use a ring that is one size smaller. Do not use one size larger as they instruct. Another trick during penetration is to hold your penis very firmly just above the ring to avoid squeezing of the blood out of you dick. One last advice is to ask your partner to relax her pelvic floor muscle and to widely open her vagina during penetration and the first 5 minutes until both of are ready to orgasm.The manual and DVD are very poorly explaining the device. Read other sources and take your time to master the tichinque.Unreliable device, after a month it failed: the pump broke. Unfortunately, following a radical prostatectomy I need it and I have always placed a new order on amazon. I hope this time to have more luck and ask Amazon to intervene perhaps with a refund or as it deems appropriate.Not a very well made product. Someone in quality control at this company needs to review production. The seal from the pump to the chamber does not hold ( I had to modify mine with a bigger gasket) and, worst of all is that you get 2 attachments at the base but there are sharp edges on the cylinder that are extremely uncomfortabe at the base of your penis.Bottom line, try something else. I got a Hydromax in addition to this failure, and it is way better.Last, why is it cylinder not curved at all? What man has a perfectly straight penis?Difficult to use. The vacuum did give me the results I was hoping for try anot unit with a hand pump which worked much betterIt works perfectly well. I bought and used it under medical direction, so I felt safe in using it. The directions are clear and the DVD, albeit not something you would want to watch every day, was very helpful. It packs into a discrete carrying case so there is no chance of the cleaner getting a shock.It does work if you are willing to not be spontaneous. But if you have ED and drugs are no longer an option, go for it.
